Founded in 2004, Chateau Vartely is a young but ambitious company ranked among the top wineries of Moldova in terms of quality and performance. It is a medium sized winery with about 1200 acres of own vineyards in the Southern and Central regions, producing up to 4.5 million bottles of wine a year. The production cycle is fully controlled from cultivation of grapes to bottling of wines.

 

Chateau Vartely cultivates classic varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Traminer, as well as Indigenous varieties of Moldova: Feteasca Alba, Feteasca Regala, Feteasca Neagra and Rara Neagra.

 

Known also as a wine, culture and leisure resort, Chateau Vartely shares the finest traditions of French vineyards that combine production of wine with the cultural side of ecotourism. Each year Chateau Vartely Resort hosts over 10,000 tourists and wine enthusiasts from all over the world. There, along with guided tours of the winery and wine tastings, the guests can enjoy Moldovan fine cuisine at on-site restaurant and extend their visit by staying in one of the comfortable guest houses.Premium and fine wines of Chateau Vartely are exported to Europe, Asia and North America.
