White Sweet Wine, 2011

Premium quality Ice wine produced after traditional method of hand harvesting grapes frozen on vine at 14-21F. The frozen grapes are then pressed at 18 F to extract pure juice. Fermentation takes place in vats at controlled temperature for several months. In German classification of wines this Ice Ice wine qualifies as Qualitätswein mit Prädikat. Varietal Muscat Ottonel is a less-distinguished member of the broader Muscat family that thrives mainly in France, Austria, Switzerland and Romania. It makes a range of wine styles, from light, dry table wines to richer styles with more residual sugar.
