Red Dry Wine, 2013, 2014

With a history of over 2000 years, Feteasca Neagra [Black Maiden] variety originates in Moldova, in the Prut river valley. Wines made of Feteasca Neagra attract with a rich bouquet of forest berries, cherry pit aroma and long fruity finish. Depending on vinification, the tannins can range from rough to soft. When balanced by bright acidity and good concentration, Feteasca Neagra wines can age well. Known for bulk wine production, Vinaria din Vale winery has recently started to develop a range of bottled wines, able to pick and choose the very best fruit from its 1 550 acres of vineyards.
